RocketFlap trim tab plates have a unique design in the boating world. The main 12" x 9" tab can be removed from the transom backplate in a very short time. The 'Hook Over' design holds the tabs safely and securely on to the hinge brackets while the system is in it's normal working position. When the ram is disassembled it lets the tab rotate fully down and allowing you to lift and remove the tab off the hinge bracket. Easy for cleaning, storage and maintenance.

The quality tabs are laser profiled from 3mm (0.118") stainless steel plate (thicker than standard trim tabs). Giving increased strength without the need for crude folds, ribs or flanges. Laser profiling allows the plate to have of smooth flowing curves that help to reduce drag, water spray and are safer to handle. Finally the tabs are gloss black powder coated as standard (optional colours are available). The hinge backplates are screen printed with a tough '2 pak' silver ink forming the 'RocketFlap' logo.
